Day One - Rekindle the Flame

“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.” — 2 Timothy 1:6 (NIV)

Devotional Thought:

Today marks the beginning of our revival fast, and it starts with a personal decision: to fan the flame. Revival doesn’t begin in a crowd; it begins in the heart. Paul told Timothy to stir up the gift, which means the fire was already there; it just needed attention. Sometimes life, disappointment, or routine causes our spiritual intensity to dim. But the flame isn’t dead, it’s waiting. Just like coals that still hold heat, God has preserved your fire. And now, He’s calling you to breathe again. Don’t wait for a worship service or a perfect moment. Revival starts when you say, “God, light me up again.” Whether you’re burned out, burned up, or just barely burning, today is your moment to stir what’s been sleeping. Fan the flame. Let today be the spark that reignites your calling, your passion, and your hunger for Him.

Prayer Focus:

Ask God to rekindle your hunger for His presence. Repent for complacency and any ways you've allowed your fire to go cold. Pray for awareness of the spiritual gifts and callings that have gone dormant in your life. Invite the Holy Spirit to breathe fresh wind on your spirit today.
