Day 4 The Fire of Intercession
“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land...” — Ezekiel 22:30 (NIV)
Devotional Thought:
True revival doesn’t make you selfish; it makes you sensitive. When the fire of God truly touches your life, it doesn’t stop with you; it makes you weep, groan, and pray for others. It births intercession.
God is always looking for someone who will stand in the gap for their family, their city, and their generation. The fire of intercession is not quiet or passive; it’s fierce, focused, and unrelenting. It’s the cry that says, “God, don’t pass them by. Save them, heal them, move in them.”
The greatest breakthroughs often begin with someone else's private prayers. The secret place becomes the starting point for public revival.
Today, turn your prayers outward. Use the fire God is igniting in you to fuel prayers for those who can’t pray for themselves.
Prayer Focus:
Stand in the gap for your family, your city, and your generation. Call out names before God — the lost, the broken, the bound. Ask for a revival of intercession in your church and spiritual community. Pray for mercy, healing, and breakthrough for others.
