Momentum Fast Pt3 Day 2
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3 (NIV)
Devotional Thought:
Thriving is more than looking whole on the outside; it’s about being healed on the inside. Too many people are functioning in life but fractured beneath the surface. Smiling in public while silently bleeding in private. But here's the truth: you can’t truly thrive while ignoring what’s broken.
Psalm 147:3 shows us the intimate nature of our God. He is not distant from our pain, He draws near to bind up what hurts. Not just a temporary fix but a deep and personal healing. And the beauty is He doesn't wait for us to have it all together. He meets us in the mess and brings restoration where we’ve experienced damage. Old wounds, hidden offenses, unprocessed grief, and unspoken disappointments become spiritual blockages. They steal our energy, distract our focus, and hinder the fullness of what God wants to do through us.
Prayer Focus:
Invite the Holy Spirit to search your heart and reveal any emotional wounds, trauma, or unresolved issues. Acknowledge the specific areas you need healing in, say them out loud or journal them. Release those areas to God in prayer, and ask Him to begin the healing process.
Action Steps:
What pain or emotional weight have I been carrying that I haven't truly addressed? Have I allowed God full access to the hidden areas of my heart? What does healing look like for me in this season?
